MEP Service Plan

Our Maintenance and Efficiency Program (MEP) is designed to help you to get the most out of your cooling and heating system. The MEP includes two (2) visits per year. The first at the start of spring to tune up of your condensing unit(s) and the second at start of fall to tune up of your heating unit(s).

Below is a description of what is serviced on a MEP visit:

Spring Tune-Up Procedure

  • Clean outdoor coil
  • Oil outdoor motor
  • Inspect electrical connections
  • Check Freon level
  • Check amperages
  • Test all safety controls
  • Blow out drain line
  • Test/measure pressures
  • Test/measure temperature

Fall Tune-Up Procedure

Gas Heat:

  • Check for cracks in exchanger
  • Vacuum burners/exchanger
  • Check vent pipe for leaks
  • Check vent pipe connections at roof
  • Test gas valve operation
  • Test fan/limit operation
  • Check thermocouple tip
  • Set heat anticipator
  • Test all safety controls

Electric Heat:

  • Check element operation
  • Check high limit operation
  • Check sequencer operation
  • Set heat anticipator
  • Check elements for damage
  • Test all safety controls
